Sanders was born on September 9, 1890, in a four-room house located 3 miles east of Henryville, Indiana. He was the oldest of three children born to Wilbur David and Margaret Ann Sanders. The family attended the Advent Christian Church. The family were of mostly Irish and English ancestry.


At very small age of 5 years, his Father died.


When he in school at age 16 he left the school.


At the time of age 17 he had already lost four jobs.


At very small age 18 he got married.


Between ages 18 and 22, he was a railway conductor and failed. Than after he joined the army and eroded out from there. Than after he applied for law school he was rejected. Than he became an insurance sales man and he failed again.





At the age 19 he became a father. But at age 20 a big turnout come in his life his wife left him and took their baby daughter. He became totally alone than he became a cook and dishwasher in a small cafe.


Than he tried to kidnap his baby daughter but He failed in an attempt to kidnap his own daughter, and ultimately he convinced his wife to return home.


At age 65 he retired. On the 1st day of retirement he received a Cheque from the Government for $105.


He sensed that the Government was saw that he couldn’t provide for himself. Than after he break totally inside He decided to commit suicide, it wasn’t worth living anymore; he had failed so much.


He be seated under a tree writing his will, but instead, he wrote what he would have accomplished with his life. He realized there was much more that he hadn’t done.


There was one thing he could do better than anyone he knew. And that was how to cook. So he borrowed $87 against his cheque and bought and fried up some chicken using his recipe, and went door to door to sell them to his neighbors in Kentucky.


Remember at age 65 he was ready to commit suicide. This man is no one else but it’s a billionaire founder of KFC. Which is most popular food court now, at age 88 Colonel Sanders, founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) built an Empire is a billionaire.


Sanders was diagnosed with acute leukemia in June 1980. He died at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky of pneumonia on December 16, 1980 at the age of 90
